Saltfire ST-X8 Multi-Fuel / Wood Burning Stove

The ST-X in its new widescreen edition. nominally rated at 5 kW even now. narrow depth. To shorten the distance to combustibles, a heat shield is installed on the back. The ST-X Wide, the mid-sized model in the new ST-X line, has an output rating of 5kW and an approximate efficiency of 79%. With its notably broad firebox for a 5kW model, the ST-X Wide can burn larger wood and produce heat across a wider range. Already in compliance with EcoDesign to satisfy 2022 ErP standards. Very little emissions. Built with a solid steel body that is expertly welded, a cast iron door, and interior linings made of thermo-refractory fire brick. It is legally allowed for use anywhere in the UK, including in the most stringent smoke control zones, and is many times cleaner than the standard needed for a "DEFRA" certification. Featuring straightforward, user-friendly controls that are easy to use. designed with a sizable viewing window to provide breathtaking fire views. The sophisticated "after-burner" mechanism produces a very distinctive flame pattern. This multifuel stove, the ST-X Wide, can burn wood logs or smokeless coal with efficiency; the coal ashes fall through the grate and into the ash bin, which pulls out with ease when it's full. The stove comes with a high temperature mitt and glove and is ready to install without the need for installation. finished with thermo-ceramic clear glass from the top German company "Schott" and black high temperature paint that we import from the USA. To maintain the glass's clarity, there is an air-wash system. The top and rear flue outlets of the ST-X Wide have a diameter of 5" (125mm). Suitable for twinwall flue or flue liner with a diameter of 5"
